Literacy Week

No Pens Day Wednesday

Students had the opportunity to begin their day with making Wacky Scientist headbands and then the Science experiments kicked in where the fun and excitement was endless throughout the day. The Junior Scientists experimented with making Oobleck, Walking Water, Water in Plastic Bag Trick and Baking Soda and Vinegar Volcano.

Character Parade

This year our Sirius College Character Parade was a huge success! So many of our students and teachers came dressed as their favourite book characters, and it was a joy to see them so enthusiastic about the parade. Everybody was a winner on the day!

Book Fair

We would like to thank all our parents, students and staff for their support during our Book Fair. It was very pleasing to see so many parents taking part in this event and encouraging their children to read. We are very pleased to inform you, that our Book Fair was again very successful. Our sales goal for our Book Fair was $4, 000 and we not only reached this goal but we exceeded our goal with total sales of $4, 395.

As a result, our school library was able to purchase almost $ 1000.00 in books, which our children will be able to borrow and enjoy.
